Richard Dvorak, CFP®, CLU®, Partner

Richard Dvorak, CFP®, CLU® is the Founder and a Partner at Illuminate Business Advisors, LLC. As a professional business coach, specializing in financial planning, wealth management, team building, and employee retention, he brings a high level of expertise and experience to the Illuminate team.

Richard has received national recognition for building one of the fastest growing wealth management practices in the nation. He has coached many other practices on how to grow well, improve compliance, create and implement systems and processes, as well as, increase team engagement, and accurately gauge their clients’ satisfaction.

As a professional coach, Richard believes that ongoing education and personal development are key to providing clients with the most up-to-date strategies to help move their businesses forward. To this end, he is an active member of Strategic Coach, a high-end, intensive coaching service for entrepreneurs. He is also a Certified Kolbe™ Consultant and regularly participates in ongoing mentorship programs.

Richard is passionate about helping business owners succeed and has a unique ability to see a bigger future, prioritize actions, and simplify solutions in order to inspire confidence and action. He understands that when owners hire wisely, train their teams effectively, and improve employee engagement, everyone can work in alignment with their unique abilities and conative strengths.

Richard has been married to Traci since 2005, and they have four children. They live in Houston, Texas where he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, reading, and volunteering with their church and the Rotary Club of Space Center.

Greg Shaffer, Partner

Greg Shaffer is a Partner at Illuminate Business Advisors, LLC. He is an expert in the professional learning and performance environment with over 40 years of cultivated experience in the chemical industry. He has managed compliance, regulatory and qualification training for hundreds of plant personnel. He has also advised Human Resources in areas of selection, development, and performance management of employees. Most recently, he has focused on facilitative training on leadership and interpersonal skills designed to enhance performance and effectiveness.

Greg’s unique ability is connecting with others and motivating them to improve personal and team performance through empathic communication. He is passionate about helping people grow and work better together in their professional environment. He is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance granted by the Association for Talent Development, a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, and a Kolbe Certified™ Consultant.

Greg and his wife, Cherie, have been married since 1976. They have two sons and six grandchildren, all of whom live near Baytown, Texas. He enjoys time with his family and outdoor activities.

Traci Dvorak, JD, CFP®, Chief Operating Officer

Traci Dvorak, JD, CFP® is the Chief Operating Officer at Illuminate Business Advisors, LLC. Her unique ability is relating to others, creating order, and taking responsibility to build trust and confidence. Her responsibilities include managing financial, organizational, and marketing operations.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for two local non-profit organizations: the Clear Creek Education Foundation and the Beltway 8 South Crisis Pregnancy Center. She also volunteers at their children’s school and with the Assistance League of the Bay Area.

Traci enjoys reading, playing tennis, scuba diving, and volunteering.
